For the first time in my life I celebrated my birthday in my birthplace. I was born in Agape Loboc Bohol (home of the world famous Loboc Children Choir) but relocated in Angeles City when I was just a year old. It took me decades before setting my foot back in my birthplace.
First time I attended my birthday mass in the church I was baptize. I remember my mother told me the story of the day I was baptize, I was the only baby baptize on that day and the priest who officiated the baptism said that I will be one lucky baby for I will get all the blessings. I get all the blessing indeed, brought up by my mother as a single parent who raised me alone with her hardwork and determination to give me a good life even without a father.
Celebrating my birthday on the place that I was born was so special for me. Call me emotional, but I am overwhelmed in a positive positve way. I thank God for blessing me this much and for giving me such wonderful oppurtunity.
It is still my birthday month so allow me to share the day I celebrated my birthday. :-)
